OREANDA-NEWS. December 02, 2011. Sanatorium-preventorium "YAN", a health resort of NGDU "Yamashneft" of TATNEFT has become the winner of the national contest "Best Resorts of Russia-2011" in the nomination "Best Resort" for high-quality recreation and health improvement services, reported the press-centre of TATNEFT.

The contest was held by the Department of Statistics and Expertise of "ExpertMediaGroup" together with specialized sociological organizations of the Russian regions to assess the quality of health services and recreational services provided by the resort institutions of the Russian Federation.

"YAN" sanatorium is a modern medical and health improvement complex, embodying advanced technologies in the area of healthcare, architecture and culture of recreation. "JAN" has repeatedly become the laureate and diploma holder of programs "Best Goods of the Republic of Tatarstan" and "100 Best Goods of Russia". It was also the winner of the Competition of the Alpine skiing industry International Congress in the nomination "Best Health Improvement Centre of 2007".

The main directions of the health improvement complex are preventive measures and treatment of musculoskeletal system diseases, cardiovascular, nervous and endocrine systems, respiratory and digestive, urological diseases, as well as stimulation of the immune status.

The Alpine ski complex of TATNEFT started working on November 25. It is the 8th season of its operation this year. Currently, there are 7 lighted pistes of different difficulty categories of 4,612 m length. Elevation difference is 126 meters. Everyone can choose a route according to one's own taste and level of physical fitness. The services of the complex are tailored for family recreation with children, as well as for persons who just prefer active recreation.
