OREANDA-NEWS. December 1, 2011. Belarus’ output of all mineral fertilizers rose 3.8% on the year in January-September 2011 to 4.93 million tonnes, a representative of Belarus’ Statistics Committee told reporters.

The output of potash fertilizers increased 3.5% on the year in January-September to 4.176 million tonnes, of phosphate fertilizers went up 1.1% to 148,800 tonnes, and the production of nitrogen fertilizers went up 6.9% to 605,300 tonnes in the period.

Chemical fiber and filament production fell 2.5% to 169,500 tonnes.

Motorcar tire output rose 10.1% to 2.672 million units.

Combined output of Belarus’ chemical and petrochemical industry went up 3.3% on the year in January-September 2011 to 20.623 trillion Belarusian rubles (Br) in monetary terms.

Inventories of chemical and petrochemical companies were at 42% of the average monthly output, or 862.3 billion rubles.
