OFAS Found Fixing High Retail Prices by Sellers of Fuel in Novosibirsk
OREANDA-NEWS. December 01, 2011. At the beginning of October 2011, sellers of fuel and lubrication materials simultaneously fixed high retail prices for gasoline (grades AI-92 and AI-95) in the Novosibirsk region, reported the press-centre of FAS Russia.
The Office of the Federal Antimonopoly Service in the Novosibirsk region (Novosibirsk OFAS Russia) found that “Sezal” Ltd., “Labaz” Ltd., “Azalia” Ltd., “Miranda” Ltd., “Rati” Ltd., “Skad” Ltd., Hilda” Ltd., “Miral” Ltd., “Antel” Ltd. and “Pegas” Ltd. violated Clause 1 Part 1 Article 11 of the Federal Law “On Protection of Competition”.
The Commission of Novosibirsk OFAS Russia established that the companies had exercised concerted actions, which had resulted in simultaneous fixing high retail prices for gasoline (grades AI-92 and AI-95) on 1 - 4 October 2011.
“The problem of high prices for fuel and lubrication materials has always been and is important and remains under special control of the antimonopoly office” commented Deputy Head of Novosibirsk OFAS Russia, Alexander Yelchaninov.
