OREANDA-NEWS. November 30, 2011. The Second Siberian Energy Forum comes to a close in Krasnoyarsk today. While addressing the plenary session, Efficient Energy – Key Driver towards Economy Modernisation, on 16 November 2011, Evgeniy Zhadovets, Executive Director of JSC “Yenisei TGC (TGC-13)”, spoke about the company’s near-term plans.

Leader of “Yenisei TGC” spoke about the corporate renewal and new construction policy.

He emphasised that the company will proceed with large-scale investment projects, developed in previous years, in Krasnoyarsk Territory and the Republic of Khakassia.

One of such projects, power unit 1 is being built at Krasnoyarsk CHP-3. As Evgeniy Zhadovets noted, the equipment installed on the site is currently being tested on an individual basis. Overall load testing of the new power unit is scheduled for December 2011. The new facility is then planned to be approved and electrical power and energy are expected to be supplied to the market in the first quarter of 2012.

Since it will increase the thermal power of CHP-3 by 270 Gcal/h, the new power unit will give impetus to the development of Sovetsky District, an area within the regional capital. CHP-3 will also supply 185 MW of electrical power. The power unit will be able to generate up to

1.3 billion kWh of electrical energy and 1,850,000 Gcal of thermal energy.

Krasnoyarsk is in third place in Russia in terms of housing delivery. The launch of the new power unit at CHP-3 will allow residential properties with over 4 million square meters of space to be connected to heat networks. New energy means new development opportunities not only for Sovetsky District but for the regional capital as a whole,” Evgeniy Zhadovets said in his speech.

Furthermore, “Yenisei TGC” will continue its renewal work on unit 7 of Nazarovo GRES. As a result, the plant’s power will be increased by 15 MW, reaching 415 MW. The construction of a new power unit, beginning at Abakan CHP, will eliminate the lack of electricity supply in the south of the region.

“Yenisei TGC” plans to invest a total of 22 billion roubles in renewal of fixed assets and construction of new power facilities by 2014 with 320 MW of electrical power and 370 Gcal/h of thermal power planned to be added.

“Our main goals today are to meet the growing power demands of the region, guarantee reliable equipment operation and stable power supplies, reduce specific fuel consumption, and improve environmental performance. Our company is five years old. However, its history began much earlier. And our priorities have not changed – we work for the good of communities,” Evgeniy Zhadovets said.
