Ryanair Flights Unaffected by UK Border Strike
OREANDA-NEWS. November 30, 2011. Ryanair, the world’s favourite airline, today (30th Nov) confirmed that all of its flights to/from the UK up to 12:00hrs were operating on schedule without delays. Public sector union strikes, which set out to disrupt UK visitors and travellers, have so far failed to delay any of Ryanair’s 400 UK flights and 75,000 passengers.
Ryanair now calls on the Unison headbangers to admit their failure and end this selfish and damaging strike at a time when UK visitor numbers are down and UK Border staff has even less work to do. Ryanair will continue to operate its full flight schedule to/from the UK.
Ryanair’s Daniel de Carvalho said:
“Ryanair is pleased to confirm that all of our flights to/from the UK are operating on schedule without delay. We now call on Unison to admit their failure to disrupt passengers and end this pointless strike, at a time when UK visitor numbers are down and UK Border staff has less work.”
