OREANDA-NEWS. November 30, 2011. Chairman Xu Lejiang of Baosteel Group Corporation, the Deputy General Manager of the Group Corporation, chairman of Bayi Steel and the Secretary of the Party committee Zhao Xia etc. visited Taiyuan Heavy Machinery Group, Shanxi Coking Coal Group and Taiyuan Steel successively. During the visit, Xu Lejiang communicated with the leaders of the three enterprises respectively about the topics of developing the new cooperation and seeking to the new development etc. in the new situations, reported the press-centre of Baosteel.

Xu Lejiang group came to Taiyuan Heavy Machinery Group to visit the exhibition hall, Mining Coking Equipment Branch, Crane Branch, Gear Transmission Branch and Oil Film Bearing Branch, and also communicated with the chairman and secretary of the Party committee of Taiyuan Heavy Machinery Group Yue Puyu and the vice chairman and general manager Wang Chuangmin etc.

Yue Puyu said that for a long time Taiyuan Heavy Machinery Group had been keeping a good Strategic partnership with Baosteel. Taiyuan Heavy Machinery Group had been using the advanced experience in the production, management and enterprise culture etc. of Baosteel as a source of reference to complete the renovations one by one during the development. With the development of Baosteel, Taiyuan Heavy Machinery Group had speeded up the pace and continuousely seeked the greater development in the equipment manufacturing industry. He hoped the two sides would strengthen cooperation, work and create success together. Xu Lejiang thanked the strong support from Taiyuan Heavy Machinery Group in his speech. He pointed out that Taiyuan Heavy Machinery Group had provided a lot of excellent equipment in each round of the strategy adjustment of Baosteel and offered the strong support for the development of Baosteel, hoping the two sides could plan the future development commonly, cope with the new challenges together, grasp the new opportunity and expand the greater cooperation space.

Later, Xu Lejiang group visited Shanxi Coking Coal Group, and the chairman and Secretary of the Party committee Bai Perzhong etc. gave a warm reception.

At present, Shanxi Coking Coal Group is China's largest coking coal production enterprise which has the most comprehensive coal with good quality and is the important coking coal supplier of Baosteel. Over the years, both sides have established stable strategic cooperative partnership and developed various forms of cooperations in the field of joint venture mining and iron and steel trade. During the exchange, Xu Lejiang thanked Shanxi Coking Coal Group for its support of Baosteel. After analyzing the current steel market, the future development trend and the future possible problems, Xu Lejiang introduced the current production and management situation and the new round of development strategic planning. He hoped that both sides would explore the new cooperation space further, follow the situation closely, look for the cooperation opportunity, explore the cooperation projects, supplement the advantages reciprocally, win and make progress together, do better commonly and face the challenges of the market on the basis of strengthening the original cooperation.  

On the afternoon of the same day,Xu Lejiang group visited TISCO. TISCO is a large iron & steel enterprise with iron ore mining, iron and steel production, processing, distributing and trade integrated. And it is also the stainless steel enterprise with the largest production capacity, the highest level of process technology equipment and the most complete varieties of specifications, and its comprehensive strength ranks the forefront of the domestic iron and steel industry.

TISCO chairman Li Xiaobo, the general manager Gao Xiangmin etc. welcomed Xu Lejiang's visit warmly. Both sides exchanged the views about the stainless steel market situation, energy saving and environment protection, circular economy, significant advancement in technology and the future planning etc. Li Xiaobo pointed out that Baosteel is an example of Chinese modern, mature and advanced iron and steel enterprise, and all the industries are learning from Baosteel, hoping the two sides would strengthen the communication further and develop together. Xu Lejiang said that Baosteel and TISCO had formed good cooperation relations over the years. In recent years, great changes have taken place in TISCO which has realized the equipment upgrading and reformation, taken the sustainable development policy to face the fierce market competition and made great efforts in energy saving and environment protection. In the field of the stainless steel, Baosteel is still a beginner, hoping that both sides would learn mutually, communicate together, develop the deeper cooperation in the wider field and do better on the basis of the double win to realize the grand strategy goal.

On the morning of November 20, Xu Lejiang Group visited the main production units of TISCO such as the new steelmaking area,hot continuous rolling and cold rolling etc and the production lines such as the stainless steel industrial park and precision strip steel etc.
