OREANDA-NEWS. November 29, 2011. Ingosstrakh Insurance Company acted as an official partner of the 10th All-Russian Television Contest TEFI-Region 2011, which was organized by the Academy of Russian Television Foundation under support of the Federal Agency on Press and Mass Communications.

The contest takes place annually since 2002 and awards interesting projects and colorful personalities of the Russian television industry. The winners of the contest receive the main prize: the bronze “Orpheus,” the statuette designed by Ernst Neizvestny.

This year 492 applications of 156 television companies from 80 cities and townships of Russia have been received. On November 18 Sochi saw the final ceremonies of the anniversary All-Russian Television Contest TEFI-Region 2011 in two thematic fields: "Information TV broadcasting" and "Educational and entertaining TV broadcasting.”

The "Reporter" category received the biggest number of applications, the second place is held by the category “Host of an information program” and the category “TV documentary” is at the third place. The contest jury also evaluates the projects in the following categories: “TV program for kids,” “Entertaining program,” “Operator of a TV program/film,” “Director of a TV program/film” and others (overall about 20 categories).

More than 200 TV journalists from many Russian cities came to the host city of the 2014 Olympics to witness the contest. The Academy of Russian Television Foundation as usual organized the eventful educational program for the participants. The guests not only had an opportunity to take part in master classes, trainings and seminars, but also had a unique chance to have a conversation with the members of the contest jury which consists of famous people from The Academy of Russian Television.
