OREANDA-NEWS. November 29, 2011. Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan signed an agreement on supply of electricity, the Kyrgyz government said.

Within the agreement with Uzbekenergo, Kyrgyzstan will deliver 500 million kWh of electricity to Uzbekistan.

The Kyrgyz Government said that Uzbekistan will buy 1 kWh electricity for 3.38 US cents.

First Deputy Prime Minister of Kyrgyzstan Omurbek Babanov said that the Kyrgyz side should feel responsibility and fully execute the liability on the contract.
