OREANDA-NEWS. November 28, 2011. The Gazprom headquarters hosted today a working meeting between Alexey Miller, Chairman of the Company’s Management Committee and Sergey Vakhrukov, Governor of the Yaroslavl Oblast.
The parties discussed the progress with the Agreement of Cooperation. In particular, they examined the issues of the Yaroslavl Oblast gasification. It was noted that from 2005 to 2010 Gazprom had invested RUB 1.35 billion in the region gasification. That helped raise the gasification level by 6 per cent, to 72.1 per cent (Russia’s average – 63.1 per cent). In 2011 the Company allocated another RUB 300 million for the above mentioned activity.
At the moment, Gazprom is constructing three inter-settlement gas pipelines with the total length of 79.3 kilometers and performing design and survey operations to construct another three gas pipelines.
Alexey Miller and Sergey Vakhrukov paid attention to further enhancement of gas supply reliability in the Oblast. In particular, the parties examined the possibility of a gas lateral construction from the Pochinki – Gryazovets gas trunkline (under construction) to Yaroslavl. Gazprom can make a corresponding decision once it considers the investment rationale to be submitted by the Government of the Oblast.
