JSC SITRONICS (LSE:SITR), a leading supplier of solutions in the field of telecommunications, information technologies and microelectronics in Russia and CIS participated in the 14th international exhibition for telecommunication companies AfricaCom, which was held in Cape Town, South Africa.

The conference and AfricaCom exhibition every year gathers the largest producers of IT solutions for telecom, the operator companies and service providers, experts and representatives of profile mass media in order to discuss the efficient innovation solutions that meet the requirements of the rapidly developing telecommunications market of Africa. In particular, the exhibition has extensive range of products and services for wireless, satellite, fixed line communication, VAS, Internet-services. In framework of the conference that took place on AfricaCom the issues were raised that have relation to the development of the African market of telecommunications and specifics of work on it, introduction of services new to the region etc.. Participating in the event SITRONICS aids to development and strengthening of economic relations between Russia and African countries and promotion of Russian high-tech products on local markets.

On the AfricaCom exhibition SITRONICS presented the innovation modular data processing center Daterium, the complex of convergent solutions OSS/BSS, that fully meet the requirements of the telecommunication operators of different level and type, the project “Safe City”, aimed to ensure safety of the population and development of the infrastructure of the city based on innovation solutions, and presented the solutions based on RFID technologies for cattle breeding, transportation systems and passport and visa documents. Besides, on AfricaCom for the first time was demonstrated the fully functional radio-relay outdoor solution OmniBAS-XR, which is a latest amendment of the OmniBAS radio-relay products line and ensures high spectral density and capacity of the communication channel, as well as extended functionality for traffic control and management.
