OREANDA-NEWS. November 28, 2011. The Bank of Moscow made a decision to provide loan funds to EnergoPromInvest LLC for the total amount of RUR 3 bln to finish the construction of the 1st starting facilities of the Scherbinka gas turbine power plant.

EnergoPromInvest LLC is an investor of construction of Scherbunka power plant according to Order No 1877-RP of the Government of Moscow dd. September 21, 2006, and No 148-RP dd. March 1, 2011. The Government of Moscow and the company have made an investment contract, which provides the construction of the Scherbinka gas turbine power plant with a maximum electric power of 375 mW and maximum heating power of 253 Gcal/h in the Southern Butovo District no later than 2020.

The start of the power plant shall allow supplementing the deficit of the heating power in the districts of Scherbinka and Southertn Butovo and in the adjacent territories.

The decision of the Bank of Moscow to finance the construction of the Scherbinka gas turbine power plant corresponds to the Bank’s strategy to support the priority projects for the development of Moscow, especially in the area of electric power.
