OREANDA-NEWS. November 28, 2011. MDM Bank has been announced the winner of The Best Annual Report of The Siberian Federal District award in the XIV Annual Report Competition jointly held by the Russian stock exchanges, MICEX and RTS.

This year, a record number of the Russian and foreign companies participated in the contest, 141, representing nearly all sectors of the economy: oil and gas, metals and mining, finance, telecommunications, FMCG, etc. The contest jury comprised such financial market experts as Ruben Aganbegyan, the President of MICEX, Roman Goriunov, the Chairman of RTS, and Olga Rink, the Executive Director of Financial Communications and Investor Relations Association and PR-director of the National Settlement Depository, among others.

MDM Bank has also been nominated for the XIII Annual Report Competition for 2010 award in the category “Best Financial Report”. The award is conducted by the rating agency Expert RA.

Competition participants were judged primarily by the informational content of their annual reports. Other important factors included: comprehensiveness of information of interest to potential readers, levels of disclosure for each of the company’s primary business lines, the depth of market analysis by product (service), competitive advantages, logical and rational report structure and presentation, and the absence of any superfluous information that inhibited readability. Compliance with Russian legal requirements and generally accepted international standards was also taken into account.
