OREANDA-NEWS. November 28, 2011. The housing has been executed by economic entities of a private sector of the economy solely and made 100% of the entire volume of the housing, the National Statistics Bureau informs. In January-September by way of the internal funds of individuals 1145 apartments at the total area of 186,7 thou. square meters were set in operation.

They made 67% in the total volume of apartments set in operation all over the country. This is 20,8% higher than the past year indicators of the same period. The biggest share fell to apartments set into operation in cities and made 78,3% of the total volume, 1,3 p.p. up as compared with the same period in the past year.

In particular, within January-September, in Moldova, 1682 apartments at the whole area of 218,2 thou. square meters were set in operation. This 48% exceeds the indicators of the like period in 2010. In rural areas it has been built 452 apartments at the total floor space of 60,6 thou. square meters, 37,7%. The biggest volume of the houses set in operation fell to Chisinau within 9 months of 2011. It has been constructed 1282 apartments at the total floor space of 185,7 thou. square meters, 45,7% up against the same period indicators in 2010.

This made 66,6% of the total volume of houses set in operation all over Moldova, 0,1 p.p. up as compared with the same period of 2010.
