OREANDA-NEWS. November 28, 2011. The President of NOMOS-BANK, Dmitry Sokolov, has been named "Banker of the Year" in the 8th annual "Big Money" banking awards. The award is jointly given by Itogi magazine, Fitch Ratings agency, and the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs, reported the press-centre of NOMOS-BANK.

"Even though the award is formally given to an individual, the credit for receiving this award belongs to the whole team of NOMOS-BANK," emphasized Dmitry Sokolov.

In 2011, NOMOS-BANK completed a successful IPO, becoming the first privately-held Russian bank to be listed on the London Stock Exchange.
