OREANDA-NEWS. November 25, 2011. Two coal mine disasters occurred in tandem in Henan Province. One happened at Jiuli Mountain Coal Mine, a subsidiary of Henan Jiaomei Group, and the other happened at Qianqiu Coal Mine, a subsidiary of Yimei Group, reported the press-centre of China Life.

Both disasters resulted in heavy casualties. The Henan branch of China Life immediately set up an emergency response team and took effective measures to process insurance claims.

It is estimated that approximately, RMB 2.2 million is expected to be paid out for the two incidents.
