OREANDA-NEWS. November 24, 2011. For the first time in Azerbaijan, a cable TV operator intends to render 3D television services.

AG Telekom (KATV1) spokeman Huseyn Huseynzadeh says that the service is currently at stage of testing.

"The service will be put into commercial operation during 2012. This service will be attached to one of the existing packages offered by KATV1, as there are few TV channels broadcasting in 3D format. The 3D applications will be complemented As new channels appear," he said.
