OREANDA-NEWS. November 24, 2011. JSC IRKUT Corporation was considered the best company of the Russian military-industrial complex. On November 21, 2011 President of JSC IRKUT Corporation Alexey Fedorov was awarded with a diploma of the national business award - “The Company of the year 2011” in “The Military-industrial complex” nomination.

Alexey Fedorov said that JSC IRKUT Corporation maintains the leading position in the export of military aircraft and expands the production of aircraft for the Russian Air Force. The company is also developing the MC-21 program - a short/mid range family of commercial airliners.
The annual national award “The Company of the year” was established by RBC Group of Companies. Winners are defined by the advisory council which consists of business, government and public authorities. The award is presented under the auspices of the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation.

Along with JSC IRKUT Corporation the largest Russian companies as JSC NK RussNeft, OJSC MMC Norilsk Nickel, JSC KAMAZ, VTB Bank, UIC Oboronprom and others were awarded with the prestigious prize.
