OREANDA-NEWS. November 24, 2011. At the construction site of power unit No.1 of Leningrad NPP-2 the assembly of more than 600 tons of cooling water circulation lines has been completed. They are to connect the water-treatment building of power unit No.1 and evaporative cooling tower No.1.

The works have been carried out by the specialists from the leading assembly business unit of TITAN-2 Holding – Installation and Construction Directorate No. 90, JSC. Totally in this autumn they have assembled more than 600 tons of circulation lines, as well as 32 tons of elaborate non-standard circulation pipelines with inspection holes.

All the pipelines have been manufactured at the facilities of TITANIT plant which is also the part of TITAN-2 Holding. They are made of carbon steel plates, with the diameter 2.4 meters.
