OREANDA-NEWS. November 24, 2011. Fabrication of equipment for the “Bovanenkovo – Ukhta” gas export-transmission pipeline has been completed at production facilities of TITANIT, JSC, TITAN-2 Holding’s subsidiary. All in all four gas-turbine noise-absorbing shelters have been manufactured in the course of work by the order of CJSC "REPH" Holding.

The first two noise-absorbing shelters  were fabricated in this winter, the work over the two remaining ones has been lasted for over half a year. The shelters are intended to suppress noise from the working gas-turbine installation. They are totally vacuum ones and are designed for work in severe climatic conditions at outside temperature up to  -50 С° and inside one up to  +70 С°.

The equipment consists of two parts: a turbine housing and the housing for auxiliary equipment. The weight of complicated metal structures in assembly is about 22 tonnes.

It is the first time such an equipment for gas-turbine plants has been manufactured by  TITANIT, JSC plant. Earlier similar structures were ordered in Slovakia. The cooperation between CJSC "REPH" Holding and TITAN-2 Holding is supposed to be continued.
