М2М Telematics Developed Its Own Software Product M2M-GIS Platform®
OREANDA-NEWS. November 24, 2011. M2M telematics, a leading Russian innovative holding, raises M2M services to a new technological level. For the first time in the transport telematics market the group of companies developed its own software product M2M-GIS Platform® (GIS-Platform) allowing forming a single geographic information system which combines various geospatial data and dispatching software. M2M telematics intends to create its own cartography solutions based on M2M-GIS Platform®.
The business oriented GIS-Platform interconnects the navigation solutions of M2M telematics in the universal set specially developed according to the cartographic software operations. The high-technology product of M2M telematics allows the customers to use any cartography within the specialized M2M telematics software.
The unique M2M-GIS Platform® increases the efficiency and reliability of the dispatch process, as much as possible simplifying the interaction with operators of cartographical services and considerably reducing the time to adjust navigation solutions to the requirements of a particular client.

It is worth to mention that in October M2M telematics Group as the technological leader of the transport telematics and satellite navigation market announced the launching of a series of the new generation navigation and communication equipment oriented primarily to increase savings for data transmission roaming over the GSM networks, to provide the high-speed information transmission via an alternative Wi-Fi channel, as well as to create the necessary conditions for transport monitoring and management irrespective of an onboard network, and so forth.
