Wei Jiafu, Chairman of COSCO Group met with Ed Lee, Mayor of San Francisco at St. Francis Yacht Club. Capt. Wei congratulated to Mayor Lee on his election as the first Asian-American mayor in San Francisco and briefed him COSCO's latest development in U.S. and San Francisco in particular, reported the press-centre of COSCO Group.

Shared with Mayor Lee the highlights of concluding APEC CEO Summit, Capt. Wei also introduced COSCO's measures addressing the world financial crisis, as well as expressed his hopes for Mayor Lee's strengthened efforts promoting COSCO's development in San Francisco to create more job opportunities for both China and U.S.

Mayor Lee introduced Capt. Wei his political strategy. In his remarks, Mayor applauded for the contribution COSCO achieved in U.S. market, and reassured to COSCO delegation that he would further support COSCO's business in U.S.A.
