OREANDA-NEWS. November 24, 2011. Sales volume of Moldova’s mobile operators made 2 bln. 671 mln. leis within January-September, 2011, 5,1% up as compared to the same period in the last year. As the National Agency on Regulation in Electronic Communications and Information Technologies informs, all three operators displayed the positive sales dynamics.

In particular, Orange Moldova’s sales volume has increased by 37,9 mln. leis (+2%) to 1 bln. 897, 8 mln. leis. Moldcell’s sales volume has grown by 67,9 mln. leis (+11 %) to 680, 8 mln. leis and Moldtelecom’s sales volume has increased by 23,9 mln. leis (+35%) to 92,4 mln. leis. At the same time, within 9 months of 2011, an average revenue per one user (ARPU) has reduced by 9,4% to 95,17 MDL as compared with the same period of 2010.

This indicator made 110,68 leis in Orange Moldova, 72,3 leis in Moldcell and 62,32 leis in Moldtelecom. The drop is explained by decline in charges for services rendered to end users and charges for ending of callings in mobile nets. According to NARECIT, within the period given the larges market share in sales level fell to Orange Moldova (70,8%), with Moldchell and Moldtelecom shares being 25,8% and 3,4%, respectively.
