OREANDA-NEWS. November 24, 2011. TATNEFT ranks 4th in the rating "Leaders of the economy -2011" among domestic companies engaged in production of crude oil and associated petroleum gas, reported the press-centre of TATNEFT.

Assessment of the national economy leaders was performed by the public organization "All-Russian Business Rating" jointly with the information and analytical company "Business-rating" (Moscow) and an independent rating auditor, the international audit company "Euroconsulting" (Kiev, Ukraine).

The business rating leaders were determined on the basis of actual economic indicators provided by the companies to the offices of the Federal State Statistics Service. Comparison and evaluation of the companies were based on facts and figures of official financial statements of each enterprise and its entire team in accordance with the EUROPEAN STANDART RATING (European ranking standard), having received recognition in many countries around the world.

The ranking performed allowed for the integral evaluation of companies: to compare the financial position, to determine dynamics of changes in the past period, the impact of external macro-economic decisions on the state of the enterprises, etc.

The rating reveals the real leaders of the country's economy, as well as their attractiveness to investors and potential partners, informs the authorities about the status of the enterprise, its successes and achievements.

The rating also includes service companies of Tatarstan. "Tatneft-Energoservice" ranks 3rd under the category "Provision of services for installation, repair, maintenance and rewinding of electric motors", while "Tatneft-RemServis" ranks No. 8 in the group "Provision of other services related to oil and gas production".

Awarding of the winners will take place at the International Business Forum of Russian and Ukrainian economy leaders, which will be held in Kyiv in December.
