OREANDA-NEWS. November 24, 2011. On Omsk plant for polypropylene production one prepares for start-and-adjustment works of Italian line for prepacking of polypropylene granules into bags, reported the press-centre of Titan.

The line includes:

- unit for shaping of bags form sleeve polyethylene film, its filling with polypropylene granules and sealing;

- unit of placing of the bags on wooden pallets;

- unit of wrapping of pallets into elastic expandable polyethylene film (stretch-hood).

Prepacking line, also as major technological equipment of the new plant, is modern and works with the use of advanced technology FFS (moulding, prepacking, sealing). All operations of prepacking are completely automatized and are controlled with the help of local control panels. Production capacity of the line – 1000 bags per hour. Prepacking technology allows to pack granules of polypropylene into bags of 25 kg each. Formation of the bag is conducted from sleeve polyethylene film with side folds, which is then filled with granules of polypropylene and then sealed. After sealing the filled bags go to radio-metal locator and weight controller.

After weight controller which checks mass of each bag, the packed product is moved by conveyor to palletizer, which forms pallets from 50 bags. The equipment allows to vary the number of rows of the bags in a pallet. On the plant there will be used format of supplies which is common for most producers - 1250 kg (10 rows). Design of sack tare for packing of Omsk polypropylene has been arranged and approved.

In commissioning of the prepacking line an Italian specialist of the company BagLine Andriano Mazetti will take part.

Let us mention that polypropylene plant is part of petrochemical cluster of the federal project PARK, the head of the project is deputy of State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation Mikhail Sutyaginsky.
