OREANDA-NEWS. November 22, 2011. On consideration of the criminal action materials regarding to Mr. V.V. Pavelok, the judge of the Kaliningrad Central Regional Court, S.A. Shatokhina, gave the sentence, as found him guilty of committing the act of crime, as provided by Clause 3 Article 159 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation – a fraud committed by an individual by using its peculiar official position.

Mr. V.V. Pavelok held the position of the Director of Kaliningrad branch of the Ingosstrakh Insurance Company. Through his peculiar official position he used to make false statements in the records of the insurance agent and to assume the rewards. Finally, the total damage caused to the Company amounts to 237,511 rubles.

The court made a conditional penalty to Mr. V.V. Pavelok in the form of his confine-ment for the period of 1 year and 6 months. Such a lenient sentence is conditioned by fact that Mr. Pavelok has partly compensated the stolen assets to the Company.
