OREANDA-NEWS. November 23, 2011. IDGC of Urals (RTS and MICEX: MRKU) reports on the results of the MICEX-RTS annual report contest, reported the press-centre of IDGC of Urals.

During the Annual working meeting of MICEX and RTS with issuers and management companies there was a victory ceremony for winners of the 14th Annual Report Contest. The judges of the contest acknowledged our 2010 annual report as the best annual report in the Urals Federal District.

The contest was arranged in 1998 and is the key place where companies can brandish their annual reports. The aim of the contest is to promote efficient information disclosure for investors and clients. Approximately 140 Russian companies took part in the contest.

The judges of the contest were representatives from RTS and MICEX, KPMG, Russian Institute of Directors, Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs, National Securities Market Participants, PARTAD, FFMS.

Lukoil, Sberbank, NLMK, Gazprom and other companies were also among the winners of the contest. The following energy companies also were acknowledged as the winners in a number of categories - Kusbassenergo, IDGC of South, MOESK, IDGC of Center and Volga, IDGC of Center, etc.
