Bank Saint Petersburg Appointed Deputy Chairperson
OREANDA-NEWS. November 23, 2011. The Supervisory Board of Bank Saint Petersburg appointed Oksana Sivokobilska a Deputy Chairperson of the Bank’s Management Board. The St. Petersburg branch of the Central Bank of Russia approved the appointment, reported the press-centre of Bank Saint Petersburg.
The new Deputy Chairperson is responsible for financial planning, strategy, external communications and HR.
Ms. Sivokobilska was born in Latvia. In 1996, she graduated from the University of Latvia with a master degree in economics.
From 1998 till 2007, Ms. Sivokobilska served as Head of Marketing of Hansabank Latvia (later renamed to Swedbank); from 2007 till 2011 she held the position of Head of Retail Banking of Swedbank Latvia, from 2011 till 2011 — the position of Head of Baltic Banking Business Development of Swedbank. In April 2011, she has joined Bank Saint Petersburg as Vice-President and Head of Strategy.
Alexander Savelyev, Chairman of the Bank’s Management Board, commented on the Ms. Sivokobilska appointment: “The Bank has to implement the best international practices to support its development. Our team is strengthened by top manager with experience in a large European bank to support successful implementation of our strategic goals in the coming years.”
