OREANDA-NEWS. November 22, 2011. National Settlement Depository (NSD), Russia's only settlement depository servicing the full range of debt and equity securities of Russian issuers, has been named one of ten most efficient corporate philanthropists among Russian financial companies. The ranking is based on the fourth annual survey "Corporate Leaders in Philanthropy" conducted by Vedomosti, PricewaterhouseCoopers and the Donors Forum not-for-profit partnership of grant-making organizations.

The annual all-Russian project "Corporate Leaders in Philanthropy" is designed to identify best practices in the creation and implementation of corporate charitable programs and to promote them within the business community. The project includes the ranking of the companies applying best practices in corporate charity development and management and an award for Russian leaders in corporate philanthropy with a number of nominations.

Both major companies of Russian business and Russian branches of international companies took part in the survey.

The award ceremony was held in Moscow on 18 November.
