OREANDA-NEWS. November 22, 2011. A Russian NPP construction project was presented to Jordan Atomic Energy Commission (JAEC) in Amman 19 November, a spokesman for Atomstroyexport said 21 November.

The presentation was conducted under the tender conditions and was attended, on behalf of the Jordanian side, by leaders and representatives of the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources, the company WorleyParsons, Jordan Government Tenders Department, the Ministry of Finance and other agencies.

The items presented included the design peculiarities of the Russian project, its reference status, competitive advantages and the project’s compliance with the customer requirements in the wake of the Fukushima NPP accident.
