OREANDA-NEWS. November 22, 2011. Baosteel Engineering & Technology Group Baosteel Building inked Framework Agreement for Cooperation in "Chinese Leling City" with Disai Investment Management Co., Ltd., reported the press-centre of Baosteel.

"Chinese Leling City" project, located in Xianhai District, Mianyang City, Sichuan Province, is the first economic innovation type city complex for the senior citizens to nestle and the headquarters of "elite senior citizen" in China. Serving the senior citizens mainly, the project also absorbs the group activities of different ages, is an innovation type city complex integrating modern city function and government function, and possessing the interactive function of the development of primary industry and tertiary industry. Its phase 1 project includes the construction of 380,000 m2 theme architectural complex for world senior citizen forum, 600,000 m2 architectural complex for international nestling community as well as 610,000 m2 architectural complex for Chinese senior citizen appliance expo fair and buildings for senior citizen nestling community, etc. on the land of 4 km2.

The framework agreement for cooperation specifies that both parties will exert the respective advantages to actively drive the execution of the project. Baosteel Building will make use of Baosteel's favorable brand effect and give full play to the experiences and advantages in R&D, planning, design and project general contracting management to actively provide early consultation of the project, explore and implement the feasibility of green steel structure building.
