OREANDA-NEWS. November 22, 2011. From the beginning of year, taxpayers have paid 213.5 billion UAH to the consolidated budget, and 96 % of these totals are paid by them voluntarily. This was stated by the Chairman of the State Tax Service of Ukraine Olexandr Klymenko.

"In general, the amount of voluntary payment has amounted to 204.2 billion UAH. Only 5.5 billion UAH is collected by force, and only 3.8 billion were received as a result of control and verification measures," the Head of the Tax department emphasized.

In his view, this indicates that the focus of tax policy of the state is shifted to a voluntary payment of taxes. And it has given positive results.
