OREANDA-NEWS. November 22, 2011. International Business Council together with the State Agency for Antimonopoly Regulation under the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic held round table to discuss draft Regulation on Pricing (Tariff Setting) for Goods (Works, Services) of Economic Entities Regulated by the State, which took place, reported the press-centre of IBC.

The round table was attended by representatives from the Central Office of the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic, Parliament, State Communications Agency, Ministry of Justice, State Agency for Antimonopoly Regulation, monopolies and business community. Participants made important comments on draft Regulation to be brought into compliance with the Law of the Kyrgyz Republic On Natural and Permitted Monopolies in the Kyrgyz Republic. The law aims to toughen pricing rules for goods of monopolistic economic entities and time frames for the submission of pricing documentation.

Round table concluded that the draft Regulation should be improved. In particular, the following was suggested: revision of basic terms, improvement of provisions relating to execution and return of documents and consideration deadlines,  provision of a more detailed description of cases when Chapter 3 On Composition of Expenditures Included in the Cost during Pricing (Tariff Setting) should be applied, revision of the chapter on separate accounting procedures, introduction of a new chapter with detailed instructions on the content of explanatory notes, appendices to balance sheets, review of application of established prices, etc. Participants agreed that it was necessary to avoid broad interpretation or application of contrary terms, where possible.
