OREANDA-NEWS. November 21, 2011. JSC Concern Rosenergoatom received a license from Rosetekhnadzor for construction of Baltic NPP unit 1 in Neman district of Kaliningrad region.

The license for siting of Baltic NPP was obtained on February 20, 2010. The activities of preparatory period were commenced on February 25, 2010.

The commissioning of unit 1 is scheduled for 2016, the second unit – for 2018.
