IBC Holds Round Table on Kyrgyzstan & Destination Marketing
OREANDA-NEWS. November 21, 2011. Round table is held by International Business Council (IBC) within the framework of the Central Asia Invest Program II with the financial support of the European Union. Participants include Deputy Minister of Economic Regulation Sanzhar Mukanbetov, MPs Zamirbek Alymbekov, Ravshan Zhenbekov, Shirin Aitmatova, representatives of the Kyrgyz Tourism Promotion and Development Council, Association of Tour Operators, National Institute for Strategic Studies and international expert Naut Kusters. The meeting will discuss public private partnership, which is, according to international experts, a necessary precondition for the destination marketing, reported the press-centre of IBC.
RT participants representing the government, parliament and private companies will conduct an open dialogue to discuss prospects and problems of tourism industry. Based on the results of the round table, an action plan will be developed to ensure Kyrgyzstan’s access to international tourism markets.
