OREANDA-NEWS. November 18, 2011. On November 2, Deputy Prime Minister Viktor Zubkov visited OJSC "Volgogradneftemash", one of the largest enterprises in the Volgograd region. Mr. Zubkov reviewed the technical re-equipment of production, met and talked to representatives of the plant. Ruslan Goryukhin, General Director of LLC "SGM", Anatoly Brovko, Head of Administration of the Volgograd region, Vladimir Yefimov, Chairman of the Volgograd Regional Duma, also visited the plant together with the First Prime Minister.

One of the items in the itinerary of the plant trip was powering an automated galvanic section equipped with the latest technology of application of chromium coating on balls of the ball valves. This is the first time that such a technology has been used in Russia; it allows achieving high quality of chromium coatings and reducing the energy intensity of the process by six times.

In Volgograd, Viktor Zubkov also conducted negotiations with representatives of "Gazprombank", and an agreement on opening a credit line for 250 mln. RUR to "Volgogradneftemash" was signed as part of these negotiations. The funds provided for a long term and at a reduced interest rate will be used for modernization of the plant.
