OREANDA-NEWS. November 18, 2011. JSOC Bashneft has announced preliminary results of its production activities for the third quarter and cumulatively for the first nine months of 2011.

Oil production at company fields during the first nine months of 2011 was 11.257 million tons, exceeding by 7.3 percent oil production for the first nine months of 2010. In the third quarter, the company produced 3.839 million tons of oil, 2.7 percent more than in the second quarter of 2011. Increases in oil production stemmed largely from greater effectiveness of production drilling and geological-technical work at operating wells.

From January 1, 2011 through September 30, 2011, Bashneft’s Ufa oil refinery complex refined 15.729 million tons of oil. That figure is 1.3 percent below oil refining during the first nine months of 2010. Average depth of refining from January through September 2011 was 86.8 percent and corresponds to the depth of refining during the first nine months of 2010. In the third quarter of 2011, Bashneft refined 5.299 million tons of oil-2.5 percent less than the amount it refined in the second quarter of 2011. In the third quart, after completing repairs to the unit for catalytic cracking of vacuum gasoil, production of gasoil at the Ufa oil refinery rose by 7.2 percent and vacuum gasoil production decreased by 32.3 percent.
