OREANDA-NEWS. Girls’ Day will take place in the cities of Bishkek, Karakol and Osh on April 26, 2012, for the first time in Kyrgyzstan. Organizers of the event are the Ministry of Labour, Employment and Migration of the Kyrgyz Republic, Ministry of Youth Affairs, Ministry of Education and Science, Ministry of Social Protection of Population, Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Agency for Vocational and Technical Education, and associations of entrepreneurs together with the German Agency for International Cooperation (GIZ), reported the press-centre of IBC.

Organizers aim to provide the youth with career orientation experience, improve their planning skills for career growth and increase their awareness not only of education and employment opportunities but also of health, lifestyle, sport and music. Currently, a team of experts, consisting of Chief Coordinator and three Regional Coordinators, is being formed to hold this event in the three cities of Kyrgyzstan. Key tasks of those experts will include organization of the event, popularization of the idea of holding Girls’ Day among Kyrgyz population, and provision of support for members of the Coordination Council in communicating with the media.

International Business Council, member of the Coordination Council, is taking an active part in the selection of experts, and supports the idea of holding such important event, which will promote human capital development in Kyrgyzstan.
