OREANDA-NEWS. November 15, 2011. Ingosstrakh Insurance Company, together with the Ice Hockey Federation of Russia, organized a photo exhibition dedicated to the 65th anniversary of ice hockey in Russia. The exhibition will open on November 10, in Megasport Sports Palace (3, Hodynsky blvd., Moscow) as a part of the Ice Hockey Legend Cup. The exhibition will also be open for visitors during the First Channel Cup on December 15–18.

The exhibition shows unique archive photos taken at the Olympic Games and the World Cups where USSR, CIS and Russia ice hockey teams won gold medals. Each photo is accompanied with a fascinating text that highlights the most blazing moments of the Russia’s ice hockey history. Partners of the project are Modern Sports Museum (www.smsport.ru) and Championat.com sports portal. The goal of “65th Anniversary of Russia’s Ice Hockey” photo exhibition is to familiarize general public with achievements of the national hockey and attract the attention of the younger generation to healthy lifestyle and active sports. Earlier, Ingosstrakh Insurance Company and the Ice Hockey Federation of Russia published a photo album “Ice Hockey. Winning Time”, also dedicated to the 65th anniversary of the national hockey.
