Belarus Posts 5% Inflation for Early October

The largest increase in retail prices has been registered with oat flakes (up 29.2% since early October), butter (11%), chicken eggs (20.2%), prefabricated poultry (16.8%), wheat flour, first-grade beef, boiled and smoked sausages, salted herring, milk, dairy products, margarine, confectionery goods, vodka, soft beverages, fruits (6-9%), petrol (8.3%), fabrics (6.5%), television sets (4,5%), clothing (4.4%), footwear (4%), medical services (11.7%), housing and utility services (5.2%), resort vacations (5.1%), household services (4.1%), communication services (4%).
