Inflation Fell to 14.42% in Azerbaijan in 2011
OREANDA-NEWS. November 14, 2011. The Economic Research Centre of Azerbaijan has unveiled the results of statistical studies of consumer price index for October 2011 on 10 regions of the country.
The Centre reports that the survey has shown that the October’s CPI rose by 0.48% .Year-on-year inflation (against Jan-October 2010) totaled 14.42%.
“In October the prices grew by 0.84% in Baku and by 0.12% in the regions.
Year-on-year rise of prices made up 18.51% in Baku and 10.4% in regions.
Last month the largest price increase was observed for food products – (+23.48%). Then follow non-food products (4.43%) and services (4.75%),” the Centre informed.
Inflation for Jan-October of 2011 totaled 9.05%, including 13.85% on foods, 3.16% on non-foods, and 4.3% on services.
