OREANDA-NEWS. November 14, 2011. Citadele Bank has announced the launch of the new Win-win rewards cards, a first in Latvia, reported the press-centre of Citadele Bank.

The Win-win cards offer consumers control and management of their spending together with a wide range of benefits and privileges from both the American Express and MasterCard payment networks.

The Win-win cards consist of a set of two cards, the Citadele Win-win American Express® Card and the Citadele MasterCard. Both cards are linked to a single account with a single PIN code and allow cardholders to earn rewards points, which they can exchange for gift certificates from various retailers in Latvia. In addition, cardholders will receive exclusive offers through the American Express Selects programme.

The Win-win cards reward everyday spending, turning each lat that is spent into rewards points. The American Express-branded card offers customers 2 points per 1 LVL spent and 200 introductory points, and the MasterCard offers 0.5 points per 1 LVL spent. Those who earn 1,000 points can exchange them for a gift certificate worth LVL 10 from any of the retailers in Latvia who are partners in the programme, including Maxima and Rimi stores, as well as Drogas, the Janis Roze bookshops.

In addition, with the Win-win American Express Card, cardholders will receive:
Benefits of the American Express SELECTS programme, which include offers at a multitude of shops, restaurants, hotels, entertainment facilities and sports clubs in Latvia and worldwide;

Access to Globalshop services, which make it possible to purchase products from U.S.-based online sites and receive them in Latvia, even if the merchant does not usually ship to Latvia; and
Access to 24/7 customer service, internet banking and SMS banking.

The Win-win cards can also be used to make cash withdrawals from ATMs or to withdraw cash at shops which offer cash payment services. The new cards can also be used to pay for car leasing or hotel reservations.
