OREANDA-NEWS. November 14, 2011. Uzbekistan launched 828 production enterprises across the country in nine months of 2011, the joint statement of the Ministry of Economy and the State Statistics Committee of Uzbekistan said.

The material said that Uzbekistan commissioned 279 enterprises in food industry and 234 objects in construction materials sector.

Some 201 enterprises were launched in light industry, 36 in timber processing sector, 12 in machinery sector, 8 in chemistry, three in pharmaceutical industry and 55 in other industries.
