Ukraine to Enter Trade Balance Surplus at 1,5-2 bn USD in 2015 Year
OREANDA-NEWS. November 11, 2011. The Government has set a target in 2015 year to achieve a positive balance of trade in goods and services at a rate 1.5-2 billion USD. This was started by Prime Minister Mykola Azarov during a session of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine.
"The Government has set a target for 2013-2015 years to reduce the annual growth rate of imports to 9-9.5 percent and provide an average annual growth rate of exports not less than 7.10 percent, this will help to achieve a positive balance of trade in goods and services in 2015 to levels of 1.5-2 billion USD"- the Prime Minister said, noting that the Government laid basis for achieving this result already today by daily decisions on economic development.
"We should find and use all means to increase own resources. In this sense, the fundamental issue for us - stressed by the President - to enter the trade balance surplus" - the Prime Minister noted.
