Azdatacom Expands Its Network
OREANDA-NEWS. November 10, 2011. The Information-Computer Centre of the Ministry of Communications & Information Technology of Azerbaijan keeps on works on expansion of the Azdatacom network.
The MCIT reports that to date Azdatacom network has covered almost all regions of the country.
"Today, the Azdatacom network is being used by 686 citizen users and 885 subscriber organizations. Work is underway through DWDN-equipment to connect Oguz, Zagatala, Balakan and Yardimli, and as a result the network will be used in all regions of the country. Since early 2011 Azdatacom developed and improved the software on individual systems connected to the network to expand its network," a Centre’s source said.
The ICC forecasts significant growth in revenues from operation of Azdatacom network. In particular, it will grow from 120,000 up to 200,000 manat a year before the end of 2011.
