OREANDA-NEWS. November 10, 2011. The 850 continuous rolling line of Beiman Special Steel Co., Ltd. of Dongbei Special Steel Group was successfully put into commissioning. Under this project, CISDI Engineering Co., Ltd. (CISDI) was responsible for the overall work for design, assembly of core equipment and commissioning, and the 3rd China Metallurgical Construction Group (3MCC Group) took charge of all the construction works, reported the press-centre of MCC.

This line will be utilized for production of quality steel bar of Ф42mm~Ф310mm and square steel of 65~115mm, 154mm and 250mm. In the production line, the continuous mill of horizontal-vertical alternative arrangement is of 900-1200mm in size.

Independently designed and assembled by CISDI, it is the largest housing rolling mill for steel bar in China. In addition, the maximum size of the cooled product by the large-bar walking beam cooler, which is designed by CISDI, is as much as Ф350mm.
