OREANDA-NEWS. November 10, 2011. Such results of foreign trade between Moldova and Ukraine were sounded by Anatoliy Kinakh, president of The Guild of industrialists and entrepreneurs of Ukraine during the forum of Moldovan and Ukrainian businessmen.

He noticed the slight dynamics in developing of trade relations between Moldova and Ukraine, but stressed, that the before-crisis level of foreign trade which made up USD 1 bln. has not restored yet. According to the statistic figures presented by Ukraine, goods turnover has 22% grown up and made USD 602 mln. within 8 months of 2011.

As the Moldova’s National Bureau of Statistics reports, within the same period the goods turnover between two countries increased by 35% to about USD 500 mln. as compared to the similar period of the last year, with the Transdniestrian region goods turnover being left out.

The total volume of ukrainian investments in Moldova totaled USD 15,7 mln, with moldavian investments into the economy of Ukraine being nearly twice as many and making USD 27 mln. The territory of Moldova is home to 261 joint ventures with ukrainian capitals.
