OREANDA-NEWS. November 10, 2011. Three Uzbek International Exhibitions - the Eighth Uzbekistan International Exhibition for Transport and Logistics “TransUzbekistan 2011”, the Seventh Uzbekistan International Exhibition for Automobiles, Spare Parts and Service Equipment “Auto&Parts Uzbekistan 2011” and the Fifth Anniversary Central Asian International Exhibition for Protection, Security and Fire Safety “CAIPS 2011”.

The shows are organised by ITE Uzbekistan, a member of UFI, and its partner, ITE Exhibitions & Conferences Ltd (UK).

The main unifying feature of the exhibitions is the combination of transport, car service and security issues. The exhibitions provide a platform for annual meetings between professionals in related industries.

Leading companies from around the world are participating in the shows. Together, the exhibitions will present 70 companies from 15 countries, including: Belarus, Germany, India, Iran, China, Italy, Latvia, UAE, Russia, Ukraine, Uzbekistan, Czech Republic, Finland and Switzerland.

This year has been a turning point for the show TransUzbekistan 2011: after a small pause, the transport sector is recovering, which is reflected in the body of exhibitors. The exhibition features major players, including: Uzbekistan Railways, whose stand occupies a central place at the exhibition; TRANSMASHHOLDING (Russia), one of the largest holdings for the production and sale of railway transport; URAL LOCOMOTIVES ( Russia), a manufacturer of locomotives; RITM TPTA (Russia), a manufacturer of brake equipment for railway transport; BREST ELECTROTECHNICAL PLANT (Belarus), a manufacturer of equipment for railway transport; and KIROV MASHZAVOD 1 MAY (Russia), a manufacturer of railway cranes and track machines. For the first time, a Finnish group will take part in the exhibition. The group includes the following companies: CENTOS Central Logistics – transport and freight forwarding services; STRAIGHTway; Easmar Logistics OY – transport and freight forwarding services; Port of HaminaKotka Ltd - port services; Freight One Scandinavia Ltd – transport and freight forwarding services; and Meriaura Oy – transport and freight forwarding services. There is sure to be great interest in the new products of IMG (Uzbekistan), which is exhibiting services and equipment for satellite monitoring of vehicle movement, and A + S CONSULT (Germany - Russia), which is presenting three-dimensional modelling for road construction.

Alongside TransUzbekistan, the exhibition Auto&Parts Uzbekistan 2011 is taking place at UzExpoCenter. The effectiveness of international transport, in particular by road, depends on the condition of the vehicles used – which is an aspect singled out by the exhibitors at Auto & Parts Uzbekistan. The exhibitors include foreign companies, such as: ERA (Italy) - car parts; AUTO-ELEKTRO DIAL (Russia) - car parts, wiring and electrical components; AURIDA (Italy) - compressors for motor vehicles; and JANMOR (Poland - Uzbekistan) – Ravinol motor oils. The regular exhibitors include local companies, such as: AUTOROBOT ASIA - design, manufacture and sale of equipment for repairing damaged vehicles; MEGA MEBIKO (Uzbekistan) – a supplier of tyres and batteries; and MIRAL SHINA (Uzbekistan) – a supplier of Yokohama, Michelin, and Hankook tyres. Among the newcomers are AVTO OYNALAR DUNYOSI, a manufacturer of auto glass, LUKOIL MOTOR OILS, and Carroza.uz, a car website.

The construction of domestic roads and their connection with international transport networks requires comprehensive security. This year, CAIPS will present security equipment from leading manufacturers in Russia, Ukraine and China. Among the newcomers are PO Bastion (Russia), a developer, manufacturer and supplier of power systems; Irset Centre (Russia), a developer and manufacturer of intruder and fire alarm devices and systems; KAMAZ (Russia) – military machinery; Hytera Communications Co. Ltd (China) together with Tbs Inform, a developer and manufacturer of products for professional mobile radio communication systems; and Micros - access control equipment. The regular exhibitors include PREELUKI FIRESPECMASH (Ukraine) - fire engines. The domestic security market will be represented by SP UMIRS-ASIA, a distributor of Yumirs access control equipment.

For the first time, the CAIPS business programme feature discussions on security of organisations, protection of intellectual property and minimising business risks. On 4 November, in the Congress Hall at Uzexpocentre, seminars “The development of a security concept for businesses and banks based on international standards” and “Minimising business risks when working in international markets” took place.

According to analysts, in the coming years the rate of growth of international traffic will exceed that of domestic traffic, which will lead to increased competition not only between domestic transport companies, but also non-resident carriers, which are generally more prepared both technically and technologically. The TransUzbekistan, Auto & Parts Uzbekistan and CAIPS 2011 exhibitions will provide an opportunity for market participants to explore the prospects for development and identify new strategies of cooperation.

TransUzbekistan, Auto&Parts Uzbekistan and CAIPS are part of a series of specialised transport, automotive and security exhibitions organised by ITE in the CIS and Easter Europe.
