OREANDA-NEWS. November 09, 2011. Control audit was made in "Zavolzhskiy motorny zavod" (a branch of "SOLLERS") with positive assessment in system ISO - for validity confirmation of Certificate of conformance to international automotive standard requirements ISO/TS 16 949 version 2009 .

According to certification rules after one year since date of first control audit of ZMZ management system the auditors from "TUV SUD MANAGEMENT SERVICE" made second control audit from 24th to 28th October - they inspected the effectiveness of realization of organization management system (OMS) in ZMZ , and also effectiveness of processes and their correspondence to requirements of International automotive standard ISO/TS 16 949 version 2009.

Efficiency of every activity direction has been assessed – from organization of work in quality sphere in designing and in manufacturing of products, and product supplies up to accounting system and servicing.

According to inspection results no critical mismatches have been revealed. In the whole, as a leading auditor of "TUV SUD MANAGEMENT SERVICE" , Mr Bolbrinker, and an auditor, Mr.Pokorny mentioned : "in spite of difficulties due to decrease of production volumes and restructured changes , ZMZ was able to keep an achieved high level of OMS effectiveness and confirm that system works effectively. As standard ISO/TS 16 949 is directed for constant improvement of processes the auditors recommended to increase systematically their effectiveness. At the same time, by expert opinion, that processes in sphere of customer assessment and product quality assurance and service, scrap analysis, organization of component production on orders of Ford and Knorr Bremse, and stuff involvement-from managers to workers, organization of warehousing and identification of products in warehouses, operate with high efficiency. The auditors positively assessed the introduction of a new process "marketing and organization of sale" directed on new strategy – production of automotive components.

On base of assessment criteria the inspection committee concluded that ZMZ management system correspond to necessary requirements of international automotive standard ISO/TS 16 949 version 2009, and will recommend Certification Body to confirm validity of the Certificate for one year more.

Reference. In 2009 ZMZ became first Russian engine manufacturer which certified its organization management system (OMS) according to ISO/TS 16 949:2009. Validity term of the Certificate is till February 2013. Annually ZMZ confirms its validity on base of control audits.
