EuroSibEnergo Group Confirmed Readiness for Winter Peak Load
OREANDA-NEWS. November 09, 2011. Revisions by Rostekhnadzor, Ministry of Energy of the Russian Federation, commissions of regional departments of EMERCOM and branches of the SO UES confirmed that the EuroSibEnergo plants are fully ready to pass the autumn and winter peak load. All the companies of EuroSibEnergo got the passports attesting their readiness to operate during the autumn and winter period of 2011-2012.
In the course of repair and upgrade campaigns of 2011, the following works were carried out at the power stations of EuroSibEnergo:
• Specialists of the company performed more than 600 arrangements to prepare the energetic system for secure power supply to consumers during the heating period. The total volume of the maintenance program for 2011 amounts to about RUB 5 bln. At the moment, 3,173 thousand tons of coal are stored at the heating stations of Irkutskenergo.
• The readiness of protection, automation and communication schemes, dispatch control systems and guaranteed power supply systems is assured at the Krasnoyarskaya HPP, and additional control over labor protection, industrial and fire safety is introduced. Over 9 months of the current year, RUB 88 mln was spent under the maintenance program of Krasnoyarskaya HPP.
• At the Avtozavodskaya CHPP the set of prearation works included complete engineering certification and diagnostics of the plant equipment, test of the dispatch process control system and communication facilities. Minor repairs were performed on 8 turbine sets and 9 water boilers, and 3 boilers were overhauled.
At all the plants of EuroSibEnergo, training of engineering and technical staff was performed to eliminate consequences of possible emergencies within autumn and winter peak load in the period of the lowest atmospheric temperature.
