OREANDA-NEWS. November 09, 2011. Ukraine and Republic Korea have agreed till the end of this year to sign the Memorandum of mutual understanding on cooperation in sphere of a recultivation of mining outputs (objects) for sustainable development of mineral resources.

This decision was accepted today by the Deputy Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources Dmitry Mormul and the Ambassador of the Republic of Korea Kim John Tszhun during a meeting at the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of Ukraine.

The sides have discussed the current state of relations in the field of mineral resources and future prospects.

The signing of the Memorandum will allow to bring modern technologies to Ukraine from Republic Korea and to improve the ecological situation in the country.
